Its not deception Amy, search on the internet, companies like monsanto and backers bought by them have been fighting in court for years to remove the rbgh free labels, This is the very sad part. In several states the have partially won this. I know Ohio is one for example that if you put rbgh free on the carton you then HAVE TO add the statement from the FDA saying there is no proven problem, the companies have no choice. And monsanto has sued many! I think this is a sad and ridiculous statement of our world that we cant protect ourselves without making a statement like that. Many good safe milk sources have refused the label entirely because the refuse to support that FDA statement. Just wanted to let you know as your company is probably safe and good but forced into labeling that way. They knew by that statement people would instantly question the exact same way you are.

I am deeply grateful to find this post on organic milk, and just how organic it may be, especially in view of the new regulations. It is bloggers like you who will help to keep the pressure on to assure the USDA follows through and stops the profiteers cashing in on the organic movement. We also need to watch for loopholes through which, doubtlessly, Big Organic(not) Dairies will try to float their cows.

Thank you, both, for your comments. There is so much to discuss with respect to the "agro-farming industrial complex" and I intend on doing so regularly! I did indeed see "The Corporation" - I didn't necessarily plan it, but within a short timespan, I watched "King Corn," "Food Inc." "Who Killed The Electric Car" and "The Corporation." I find them all illuminating (and disturbing) - yet inspired me to take action,and really re-examine my choices. Thanks!!

I feel I have a much better understanding of
